Leadership in the Law 2017~ Leadership in Law recognizes Maryland’s legal professionals – lawyers and judges – whose dedication to their occupation and to their communities is outstanding. Winners are selected by an outside panel of legal and business leaders. The Daily Record launched the Leadership in Law Awards in 2001 as a way to recognize the outstanding work being done by members of the legal community throughout Maryland. The Daily Record's Leadership in Law honorees make a tremendous impact on their profession, the community and our state. In addition, each is committed to mentoring the next generation of legal professionals. Mentoring is a critical component to receiving the Leadership in Law Award, and this year's honorees demonstrate that strong commitment to future leaders of the law profession.

Baltimore Sun Magazine’s 50 Women to Watch 2014~ This is the second year that The Sun has selected 50 women to highlight. Last year’s list included such intriguing figures as Mayor Stephanie Rawlings-Blake, comedian Amy Schumer and Boston bombing survivor Ericka Brannock. The women selected this year promise to be equally fascinating and newsworthy. Nominations and selections are chosen with an eye to representing the diversity of the Baltimore area -- a range of fields, ages, ethnicities and towns/neighborhoods.

Associated Black Charities Board Pipeline Program Graduate 2013~ Associated Black Charities’ Board Pipeline Leadership Development Project is committed to developing a pipeline of professionals from racially under-represented communities as well as women to serve on boards in our region. The Board Pipeline Leadership Project helps to provide pathways of access and opportunity. This program selects up to 20 participants per class.
Marjorie Holloman Parker Leadership Award 2013 ~ This is a regional award presented to one graduate and one undergraduate Soror who is making a major impact on Alpha Kappa Alpha and her community. The Soror will exemplify the strength, grace, and dignity, commitment to excellence, professional achievement, leadership and service that characterized the life of the 15th Supreme Basileus of Alpha Kappa Alpha.

Junior League of Baltimore’s Wise Penny Internship Chair 2010-2012
Served as a mentor, and provided one on one mentoring to four women for a 14 week period. In addition to providing job readiness trainings on topics such as resume writing and interviewing techniques, I also provided trainings on everyday life skills such as budgeting and etiquette classes
Junior League of Baltimore’s Annapolis Bowl Lifetime Achievement 2010 ~ Given once in a lifetime to a JLB member for service to the community beyond their League involvement.
